This easy homemade granola is fun to make at home with ingredients you probably already have in the pantry. It’s an energy packed snack or topping.
Ingredients
- 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- ½ cup golden flaxseed meal
- 1 cup pecans
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- 8 tablespoons maple syrup
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 large egg white beaten
- 2 cups banana chips
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350˚F.

Add the oats, flaxseed meal, pecans, cinnamon, and salt to a large bowl.

Whisk together the maple syrup, butter, and vanilla.

Pour the butter mixture onto the dry mixture and stir well. Add beaten egg white and mix.

Spread onto a rimmed baking tray and bake for 15 minutes, tossing halfway through.
